I Did Something I Swore I'd Never Do.

(This post was originally published on my former site, Chaos and Comfort.  Enjoy!)

I did something a few months ago.  It was about the time that I stopped posting quite as regularly on this blog. Those two things are related.  Just in case that wasn't clear.  Ha.

Over the last 13 years, for as long as I have been a stay-at-home-mom, I have been consistently approached about different work from home opportunities.

Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Norwex, Younique, Monat... I could keep going.  You've probably seen all of these too, and been "spammed" on social media by those trying to make some money in their businesses.

I really, really, didn't want to do that.  I also didn't want to host parties, or carry inventory, or any of those things usually associated with these businesses.

work from home

Mind you, I know those posting those links are usually completely well intentioned.  They are doing that because it's what they're taught.  It's what their companies tell them to do.

I didn't know there was a better way.

So, when I learned about this company that wasn't about to tell me to do any of that, and in fact, they promised to teach me how to get people coming to me...

I caved.

So here's the thing.  It actually shocked me. It worked, my business took off, and I started making money.

I've been growing my little business (well, not so little now) and doing the work from home thing for about 5 months, and I'm loving it.  I still really, really love this blog too!  It's just that I gotta figure out how to do both, while still occasionally doing laundry. Because my kids insist on wearing clothes every day.  Geez.

Anyways, I wanted to let you know what was up.  I'm still going to be posting here as often as I can.  I hope to resume a regular posting schedule soon.

In order to hopefully make it up to you, I wanted to share a freebie.  I created this pdf recently to help me stay on task with all the craziness in this household right now.

There's a spot for weekly and daily tasks, other items, and a goal or two.

I'm imagining this could be used for cleaning tasks, for kids events and needs, tracking health goals, basically anything you need to track on a weekly and daily basis.

So, I love ya, I'm still here... and I'll be posting some good stuff soon.  Not to worry, I'm not going to turn this blog into a biz advertisement.  Well, maybe when pigs fly. ;)
